Michael Sedano's "Area90art" work rooted in the idea that beauty can be found in what others overlook. The raccoon became his symbol because they are resourceful, curious, and capable of finding value where others see none. To Michael, they represent the belief that one person’s trash is another person’s treasure.

Many of his pieces are created using reclaimed materials like vintage frames, discarded canvases, and objects that were forgotten or ready to be thrown away. Instead of letting them disappear, Michael gives them a new purpose and a new story. His paintings blend dark tones with vibrant moments of light, creating dreamlike worlds inspired by imagination, transformation, and second chances.
